I enjoyed learning and sharing my experiences on NAM. But after two clutches and one flywheel within 65,000 miles, I decided it was time to try something more durable. I recently had two codes pop up and then went off for my turbo charger and the dreaded yellow engine light for reduced power. My MINI Service Adviser reprogrammed the car and it seemed fine now (he said 9 out of 10 times reprogramming fixes it). He also stated that he sees turbos showing stress cracks around 60,000 miles and it costs $3,800 to replace it.

Of course my 100,000 mile MINI extended warranty did not cover the second clutch, supposedly only good for one! Also, MINI does not offer a refund if sold early.

I sold it CarMax at 65,000 miles. I will be posting extra stuff for sale on the forum marketplace (winter wheels, roof rack, DRL LED Lights, etc).
