How to install Rear Swaybar R52?

Has anyone upgraded to a 19mm on a Convertible? I have the shocks removed and the stock swaybar disconnected. I removed the subframe bolts including the "hidden one" in the middle under (through) the heat shield. While prying I can slide the old one out half way and it hits the middle brace. Do I need to remove the whole exhaust?

Thanks folks!

The "spider bracing" needs to be removed as well as the 5 subframe bolts removed. Then you'll need to use a prybar between the body and the subframe to give yourself more room, but you can push it half way through from the passenger side then go to the drivers side and wiggle it out the rest of the way.
