Meanest Looking Cooper - Pics (Gen 1, R50/R52/R53)
As the title says, Meanest Looking Cooper - Pics (Gen 1, R50/R52/R53)
I saw it in the R56 section and decided we need one too.
Post a picture of your 'mean' Gen 1.

I prefer clean, not mean, on my JCW Cabrio.
Never been a fan of making all the chrome black. I think it makes the car look cheaper....but that's just me

Clean is good too. Clean & Mean is .. bad ***! Mine still has most of the chrome on it too.
I don't think it's mean .. but here's mine.

Everyone is blacking out and it's getting a little old. I decided to resist and go chrome.

I don't think I will black out the chrome. I kinda like it - keeps it balanced. My other black vehicle has kept most of its chrome too.

Not really mean, but
I like it...
I only de-chromed the extra chrome from the exterior chrome package.

Dang, the Redbull mini is sick.
I'm in the process of rebuilding/modding my R53! Give me a few weeks and I'll get all up in here, I've been playing around with plastidip/paint quite a bit in between mechanically difficult stuff >

Eh I wish it was meaner but considering what it used to look like I'd call it meaner.

It's just so hard to know how good wheels will look on your car when you're looking at pics online :(

I like Mdaz and Colins.
I can't say I'm a fan of the black wheels though, they look too obviously aftermarket IMO.
I love the union jack roof or wing mirrors (I am British) but I can't do the roof on mine as there is a massive sunroof I'd hardly see any of it. I just tried to wrap a union jack on my wing mirrors but after ages getting it smooth I found the lip of the mirrors wouldn't lock in to place very well with the wrap on the edge! Stripped it off again, lol.
[I]Crappy union jack mirror wrap job >.

They make perforated sunroof graphics which also double as a sunshade. Here's a Union Jack
