N12 oil pressure light on during hard rights?

It's only on hard right turns that I've seen it. Tires are 16" Conti ProContact SSR, so not terribly sticky stuff. Especially if I brake and turn in, the oil pressure light will ding once or twice then go away on corner exit. No histrionics, no DSC engagement, no tire squeal, just a good hard corner like you'd see in an autoX type environment.

Oil level is topped off. Oil type is Mobil1 0W40. Oil filter is a Mann.

Is this a common occurrence with this motor in these sorts of conditions? I didn't see much on a search. Is there any solution other than a baffled oil pan?

I've never seen it, and I take a lot of hard rights :-) N12 R55 with Michelin Pilot Super Sports (= glue). I think this is something that your car is picking up with its sensors that isn't hurting anything. I'd be curious what you find out.

I thought I had updated this at some point. Reading old threads, some people had experienced this sort of issue when using aftermarket oil filters. Even though I had used a Mann filter, I did an oil change using Amsoil 0W30 and an OE oil filter. I haven't seen the problem since.

The Mann and Mobil1 had about 4k miles on them when I changed it.

Thanks for taking time to let us know what fixed it. Step daughter just experienced it but was due to low oil level.
