EBC RK Series Rotors

Hi All,

Does anyone have any experience or opinions on the EBC RK series plain rotors? I'm trying to decide between the Centric 125 series and the EBC RK series but can't really find any reviews of the EBC rotors.

http://ebcbrakes.com/product/premium-oe-rotors/

I've searched through the forums and have only found info on the slotted or slotted/drilled EBC rotors.

Thanks!

Unless they are significantly cheaper than the Centrics I would go with the Centric rotors. I replaced my 08 S brakes with these rotors and they are OEM replacements. Not very expensive either, and survived multiple Wisconsin winters. Also survived two autocross events and a track day with plenty of life left.

Some reviews here but not for MINI specifically

Have you considered Zimmerman? They are on sale right now.

The EBC rotors would run me about $50 less but I'm leaning towards the Centrics just because I've been able to find plenty of reviews and recommendations on them. Plus there's the old "you get what you pay for" adage.

Thanks.

I've looked at the Zimmerman's but I'm digging the black hat rotors.

Fair enough! Here are some other alternatives and a replacement guide that may help
