Just now watching 1st day Mecum auction recorded earlier today, with the subject car just now hammered at $9,500 as seller's reserve was lifted. That Austin looked very nice in bright red bodywork, even if maybe not quite ready for a concours trophy. Oddly, it was equipped with auto trans which I (nor commentators) realized was available back then. Sure made my 2nd gen MCS seem large by comparison...
