Very happy for him. He got a GREAT Mini and I spent a small fortune getting her up to par. Wish I could have kept it but I can't.
Just an FYI,
Thanks for looking,
Greg
The unfortunate time has come to sell my 2006 Mini S. (Last Year of the SuperChargers).
I really don't think you will find a nicer and more well taken care of 2006 Cooper S than this, especially with ALL the Factory Options it has. I have looked and this Mini doesn't exist.
New Horse forces purchase of a 4x4 Truck. Go Figure - the things I do for my wife.
I cannot say enough about this Mini. I have spend $$$$ of dollars fixing and replacing everything last year and this year.
New Koni FSD Shocks - What a WORLD of difference
New drive belt
New coolant and Flush
New Rotors (front cross-drilled)
New Pads (brembo)
New tires
Oil Change
Valve Cover Gasket
New Spark Plugs
All 3 engine Mounts
All rubber bushings except the Lower Ball Joints - they said they were fine.
And the list goes on and on. The above is just from 2016. I have complete records for everything repaired/replaced prior to 2016.
The clutch has been inspected by a BMW Master Mechanic and has been given a clean bill of health. I thought it was going south but it was the Upper Engine Mount that was the problem and it has been replaced along with the other 2 mounts in 2015.
Right now, it is running perfect - so perfect and fun to drive I don't want to sell it, but I don't really have a choice.
I even have a 15% Reduction Pulley kit with belt and plugs that needs to be installed from Way Motorwerks
I have put newer OEM Cooper S Rubber mats in the front. The carpet ones are crap when it rains all they do is collect water and dirt. The Rubber OEM Cooper S ones are great!
I'm asking $5,500 - The car is really is in GREAT condition. Again it's a 2006 so there are some minor cosmetic things that I will point out if you are interested, but nothing that noticeable. The Driver's seat is starting to crack so that is one. I have it posted on Craigslist and AutoTrader (Sarasota, FL) for $5,900.
The Racing Stripes are Magnetic and come off/on with ease. They will NEVER leave a mark on the paint. I've had them on for weeks after a rain and never any evidence of any damage to the paint. Amazing. I've had the Mini at 115mph and they still stay on. So for a casual night at the Ritz, take them off, for a sporty afternoon - put them on.
If there is any interest please don't hesitate to reply or pass this on to a friend. I have many more pics I can send. I am the "3rd" Owner, but the 2nd owner only had the car for a few months and had to sell due to a baby coming.
No RUST on her at all, No Accidents, and Non-Smoker.
The Mini is a 2006 and has EVERY Option except the Harmon Kardon Amp/Speakers.
It has:
Convince Pkg - auto dimming rearview mirror, Garage door Opener, Auto HID's.
Sunroof
The RARE Chrono Guage Pkg in-place of the GPS (which complements the mini's heritage more than any Color LCD Screen IMO).
Heated Seats
LED Parking Lights (very kewl as they dance when you start the car)
Front Fogs
On-Board Computer (temp, MGP, AvgMPG, and more)
Tire Pressure Sensors
Koni FSD's - All 4 New
BBS R90 17" 2-Piece Allow Rims
Upgrades are:
Borla Street Exhaust Aggressive
Diana Upper Strut Bar
Craven Speed sealed Cold Air Intake w/Clear Top (gets cold air from behind firewall)
15% Reduction Pulley Kit - belt & Plugs (must be installed)
JCW Front Grill
Carbonfiber Bee-Stinger Antenna
AND - Check this out - A Raceseng $150 Tow Hook that's CNC machined from 7075-T6 aluminum alloy and anodized and is spring loaded. easily adjustable to fit tight and straight. There is NOT a better tow hook. Okay got my 5 seconds of fame.

There is a "Check Airbag" light on. But that is a Mini Recall and I have the Letter you need to take to a Mini Dealer and they will fix/replace for free. Has to be a Mini Dealer - BMW will not perform the Recall - I've Tried.

Ja - I think it's a good and very fair price. I would drive that thing across the country and back I'm so sure of it. It does need a few minor makeup/cosmetic things but doesn't all 2006 mini's???
I love the car, Love driving it, Get TONS of comments, everyone wants to look at it, etc.
From my Mini to a 4x4 Ford F350 just so I can tow my wife's horse 8 hours round trip a few times a month for a medical procedure.
BIG Change.
