Just recently did a clutch job on the mini cooper and broke the red clip and brake booster hose where it attaches to the intake near the supercharger. I have found the hose on realoem but have not seen the clip anywhere. Not even the dealer could tell me anything about the hose clip. Here is a pic from pelican of the hoses that ive disconnected and you can see the flange on the red clip sticking out of the intake tube. Also, anyone know how to disconnect the brake booster hose from the coupling up near the intercooler on top? Pic also included
Holy mackeral! That is an expensive lil clip.. I snapped both in my case. The brake booster side would not budge when i pulled on it. Tried to pry lightly with a flathead but it still snapped. The hose isnt too costly, as long as i can figure how to remove it from the coupling.
We have used red clips on hand if you need one. We should actually have everything in that area on our used shelf if you end up needing the parts cheaper than new.
As was already stated, the red clip only comes with the supercharger intake duct, and the hose will need to be replaced if you broke the end off of it.
