Which aftermarket wheels clear the JCW brakes on a 2006 Cooper S?

Car came with the 18" lumps... thinking I will tuck them away for resell time and get something that will handle better, and save a ton of weight.

Would love to go 15" or perhaps 16" but don't know what will clear the JCW brakes.

 

There's a thread if you search for it, there are some options.

 

Check out this link. If you go to diameter and put a check box in 16" it - It will show you over 90 16" wheels that will work.

Not having any luck with 15's .. But.. am I right that R53 JCW would be the same as a 2008 MCS as far as brakes go? SO any 15 that fits the 2nd gen MCS will fit the R53 JCW?

Checked out your link, my JCW is a Cooper S with the kit added, with a build date of Dec '05.. not sure if that means you link is valid or not..

 

The results will be the same for a 2nd Gen MCS ... no 15" wheels.

 

Yes you are correct. I'd double check each wheel, I can't offer blanket coverages.

Yes, it would work for the 2005 w/ JCW, no issues.
