On the inside there are two fabric panels, one on each side. I want to remove them to get a better look at the cables and such that are behind them. The mechanic at the dealership could not replicate the top not going all the way down. I showed two different people at the dealership one of which was on the day I picked up the car. At that time there was a cable that was not attached so I want to see what I can do.

Ok, I have popped them out on the R52, R57 should be the same.

On the underside of the fabric side sails there should be two little torx screws, and on the rear near the last cross pillar.

I took those two screws out but did not know how it was clipped on in the middle. I was a little hesitant to pull to much in fear of breaking it. Thanks again for the link! One day I will book mark that site.
