Does anyone utilize an insurer that will cover a GP as a special model? Not just a S or JCW but as as special version? My insurer American National will not. Time to find a new insurance company.

 

hagerty insurance might, its mostly for classics, but they do some limited production cars.

I haven't been on here in a while and I'm sure you worked out something by now, but just to confirm - yes Hagerty was perfectly willing to insure my GP at a fixed value selected by me. And as with most collector car insurance, rates are quite reasonable. Unfortunately they don't offer any track or HPDE coverage programs.

 

I found that most Insurance companies do not want you even driving to the store to buy milk, let alone take the car out for a spin. Seems most of the agreed upon policies just cover driving to car shows. Yeah...that wont work for me. Need to check around again...
