Anyone have Manic stage 2 tune in PA?
I'm interested in the Manic stage 2 tune eventually, but it basically requires a decat. Does anyone in PA have this tune, and do you pass inspection without cats?
I have a stage 2 manic tuned Mini too. i live about 15 mins away from Philly and im about 15 mins away from Delaware. You could let me know if you are interested in going for a ride. Though i got my Manic Tune from Tyrolsport in Brookyln NY.
"Do we know of any reputable mini tuners in the area of bucks county/Burlington county area? I'm also looking."
I got my Mini Tuned in NY. By Tyrolsport LLC. You could also check the manic dealer map to find one close to you.

State Inspection
Had my inspection done 2 weeks ago... running on Manic Stage 2 Map B with all its requirements including a catless DP. I passed...
Basically, what took place was once the emissions got plugged in...the report stated N/A or a readiness issue. I had to switch to Map A (stock) and drove the car normally for exactly 12 miles hoping that the check engine light would not come on. Had it retested and it passed. Once I left the inspection station the check engine light came on the 13th mile driven and switch it back to Map B and I was on my way.
As you know a CEL is an auto fail so it is critical that you switch to Map A a few miles (12 miles in my case) before you reach the inspection station to avoid any unforeseen delays.
The inspection station is Swedish Motors located in Marrietta, PA. Call Shane at (717)426-2202 for an appointment.
Hope this helps and best of luck!

Pa is super easy as long as you find a friendly shop. If you find a smaller shop they can make almost anything pass

I trust my life with TyrolSport. I have a stage II tune on mine. Best investment.
