R53 Plastic oil filter cap

Does anyone know of a plastic option to replace the metal oil filter cap? Looks like the threads on the oil filter block are slightly stripped and I am hoping that a plastic one might be a little more easy to thread.

Thanks in advance.

If I recall right, they are sold, the entire unit, top and bottom as one part....good time to change the seal where it mounts to the block....they leak after a bit....
If you put the filter cap on..and turn it BACKWARDS till you feel the threads line up...then go forward, it makes screwing it in much simpler.

hello, just the metals caps. If you have a damaged housing thread you will have to get the whole housing.

+1 turn it backwards a hair, then re thread.
