Loved that video when I saw it last year. Made me enjoy my JCW more afterI picked it up at the dealership back in April last year!

Got to be one of the best reviews on You Tube, like wise made me go and test drive one.
So glad I did as I ended up with one too.

Just upgraded the additional driving lights to full LED lamps, in chrome. Certainly give it a more modern/new look.

This is the first time I have seen this video and it is a great fun video and pretty much spot on. I have the LED driving lights and I would not order them again. They wont hold position as they sort of fall over some when you hit bumps and you have to align them every time that you drive with them on. They are bright and do really light up the area, but with the LED headlights they are an expensive bit of fluff. I would not order them if I had used them before I ordered this mini.

Dan, you need to have your dealer correct the brackets on your Rally lights....mine are absolutely awesome & they are solid as a rock! No bounce! I'd prefer Fog Lights though but not an option on the JCW. My bet is MINI will do a redesign on future models to incorporate foglights into the front air dam. But, it's a MINI thing having rally lights on the grill, so it was a no brainier for me!

Thanks for your response and if your hold position function works there is some hope! Honestly, I ordered them as much for appearance as function, but they are overpriced for what they are. I will inspect the offending brackets again today and attempt to ascertain how they can be tightened to prohibit them from moving up and down and negating their effectiveness. I don't have a lot of faith in our dealer's ability to correct the situation though. I will ask them about it when I take it in for the oil and filter change. On another note I have scheduled dynamometer time for next week and hope to determine the horsepower with the JCW Pro exhaust open and closed to verify horsepower each way. I will attempt to scan the charting and share it if they cannot provide me with and electronic file.

I hope you can get the lights sorted! FYI they are normally installed at the port (not the dealer), but my dealer had a rush on my delivery so they installed them....did a fine job. I do agree they are somewhat overpriced...my dealer had told me the price would be even more (based on MINI labor book), but they held my initial quote.

Interested in seeing the dyno info! :-)

Have to admit the lights are expensive, but they do just finish off the look. Awesome light coverage when lit up. Maybe the price will fall in time.

Can you get fake ones that look like that but don't light up? You can't use them by themselves right, only with the high beams? I mean when are you ever gonna get to do that?

Can you get fake ones that don't light up? If you turn those on with high beams you can never hardly use them on the streets/highways.
