Does anybody know where I can get the best prices (online) for Rims and Tires for my 2008 MINI Cooper S? Preferably 17-inch.

Love the first one, but those are 18'; I think mine are 17' and I'm guessing so are the tires.

I'm sorry I don't understand the first part. I might just reach you directly to avoid confusion.

Do you know if my MINI would be able to handle the 18" ones? I like those better.

Yes, it can handle 18" , I had 18" on my R52 and going to do 18" in the spring on the R58's . The tires make the ride smoother , so get a good set in non runflat.

These are 18"

Thanks, I'll try that.
BTW.- did you mean "get a good set of run-flat tires" or the opposite?

Non run flat, smoother ride, you will just need to carry a tire mobility kit or fix a flat unless you get a space saver spare.

Its here, The newest version , has a sealant system built in and the pump all in one, can use the pump also. 71102333675

The sealant once used enough times is also replaceable.

another option.

Spare wheel, you will need to them get a tire in that size. 6111509164

Most people strap them down in the trunk.

cool

That kit looks awesome. Do you know if the sealant works on run flat tires?
I prefer run flat tires. It's more convenient and you get to carry less stuff.

I switched from runflat 19" to Bridgestone Turanza 18" and am way more pleased with the ride and handling. I do not have a spare yet but I do carry towing and labor thru my ins company.

Runflats wear way too fast, cost way too much and have a lot rougher ride

Thanks for the advise. I didn't know so many people preferred non run flat.

yea run flats are an inferior choice in almost every way, except for their run flat capabilities. Of course if you have run flats you don't need that kit.

Can you recommend a good set of regular 17' tires?

Unless I find a very good offer somewhere, I'm going to have to put this project on hold. Right now the rims alone would cost me $1,060.00

Looking at the pricing, they seem to cost more than my current run flats.
