Some blizzard... we were predicted to get 12-18 inches overnight on Thursday but we ended up getting about 3

Took the Mini out on Friday and had some fun sliding around a bit. I actually found DSC to be pretty helpful in some situations despite what I had heard about it being awful in the snow.

A car cover saved my MINI!

I tried to prepare and protect my Mini from the snow with a Microbead Car Cover. http://www.microbeadcarcovers.com/

That's definitely some snow! A car cover would definitely be convenient. I prefer Coverking HERE as they offer the perfect cover with several materials to choose from, each with excellent breathability eliminating condensation. The Autobody Armor outdoor cover includes soft fleece liner ensuring a gentle, non-abrasive enclosure around your car. That's the number one worry when using an outdoor car cover.

There is a $97 TriGuard option as well, but the heavier duty covers are built/meant for the harsh weathers like your MINI saw. Happy to see you're active on our forum! Do you have a link to your build thread on there by chance? Would love to check it out.
