R56 Second gear grinds when turning?

Second gear grinds when turning?

So this is weird...

My 2013 MCS grinds slightly into second when going around right hand turns, but is absolutely smooth as butter all the other times (traveling straight or turning left). I can even really go for it and do high RPM upshifts and its perfect.. Unless going around a right hander...

Anyone have any explanation? I have already changed the fluid and there is only 41K on the car...

Something's moving under there and it isn't the axles.

I'd look first at engine and transmission mounts, make sure everything's tight and in proper place.

That is an awesome idea! I never even thought of that... I am going to take it to the dealer first since the car is still under warranty and see what they will do. And if they don't do anything then I will take a look and see what can be done to tighten things up.
