2007 Base R56: COMPLETE POWER FAILURE

I was driving up 14 N into Palmdale when the Red Battery flashed. I remember reading something about the alternator...all kinds of lights started flashing and failing randomly...ASB, Airbags, you name it! Then the engine cut out. I got her towed home...but can't take her anywhere since it NY Eve and everyone's closed! Could it be as simple as the battery? Or am I likely looking at a new alternator? Any and all help appreciated! If there's an existing post that I'm not seeing please point me in the right direction!

Hello,

Mine did this and it was the alternator. Have the battery charged and then load tested first. If the battery is good. Then its the alt. Any local auto zone or national parts store can charge and load test the battery.

Be safe.
