Looking to buy someone's spare center mounting bracket for the righthand side cv axle. I know some replacement axles come with them, others don't. If you've got a spare laying around, please let me know.

 

Good luck. I wish I hadn't thrown mine away. When I went to replace my axle last week the new one didn't have it. If you have to remove it it takes a brass hammer and 10 minutes tapping to slowly get it off. To put it on I tried tapping then got smart. I put it in the oven at 350 for 10 minutes. It expands enough to slide right on. To keep from burning off the grease in the bearing quench it in water right away to cool it off quick.

 

glad to know I'm not alone. Total engine rebuild and the bracket was a casualty of mid-project garage clean-up.

There wasn't really an option for obo, so I put $20. I'd welcome other asking prices

 

Still need one? I have an entire passenger side axle from an '06 S with the bracket and bearing in tact...
