Need Guidance on 2010 Clubman S Bike inside Standing up
Hi everyone,
I have not logged in since 10-27-2011 when I got rid of my 2005 Cooper S. Now here I am looking into a 2010 Clubman S. The big question is can you fit two road bikes standing up front wheel off without lowering the seat? My wife's bike is a 51 and mine is a 53.
I been out of the community for a while any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have a 2009 Clubman S, previously had the 1st gen Cooper S.
With the seats up, no, it will not fit standing or even on its side. From the rear seat to the trunk door, the Clubman trunk is at most twice as big as the trunk of my previous R53 Cooper S. For example, the trunk with seats up is barely big enough to fit a standard carry-on size luggage, two of them if laying flat side by side (one on driver side of the trunk, the other on the passenger side). We're talking non-continental carry-on size.
Seats down, you should be able to get to bikes standing in there, front wheel removed. The Clubman trunk should come with a removable false floor. You likely need to remove it so that the wheel sits deeper in the trunk (about 6 inches deeper when removed), and the seat post should clear the headliner.
