Turbocharger replacement upgrade

Anyone outthere with some serious knowledge and experience in R56 turbo system?... I need to replace mine and I'm seriously into upgrading it, since I have to replace it, I'll like to take the advantage and buy an upgraded one and install it. I was looking into this one:

http://shop.mambatek.com/GTX-Upgrade...?categoryId=-1

But I need some info first. If you have mess with this turbo systems, hit me up because I have a few important questions about it.

Also if there's anyone outthere that has this turbo above hit me up too!!..

Someone correct me if I am mistaken, but I think the '07-'13 MCS comes with the K03 and the K04 only came on the John Cooper Works models, right?

So this upgrade would literally be like slapping in a JCW turbo?

From what I've read the R56 ECU doesn't like non-OEM turbos very much, especially K04s. I don't know the techincal aspects to it so someone else with experience will have to give the details. Besides with a K04 you're going to lose low end torque for high end power.

Imo the best turbo upgrade for an S is a JCW turbo swap.

Their price is definitely good. Questions to ask them ---
-What pressure / vacuum activates the wastegate?
-I see a big hole where a diverter valve might go, and none shown in the kit. Do you re-use the OEM valve?
-They claim direct plug-in, probably exhaust manifold and down pipe mating. Are the air hoses also the same size / shape / location?
-Can you get and post a copy of the compressor chart, to compare to other turbos?
-If this is physically larger, will it fit without cutting away part of the hood?
-Can you re-use the OEM heat shield?
-is the advertised HP from boost or air flow, and is it BHP or WHP?
-Where are these guys located?

Maybe post their answers to these questions?

And, if it spools up quicker or slower than OEM, you better have a way to reset the CEL you're gonna get, or invest in a serious tune.
