Snow wheels and tires rubbing noise metal on metal at large steering angles

Sorry for the cross post. I forgot there was a tire forum, as I'm usually in the r53 forums.

I have an 06 checkmate, I just got a set of Honda steelies and x-ice 195/60/15 tires mounted and balanced. I bolted them up yesterday.

Today I'm getting off a highway and heard a metallic grinding on hard turns.

I pulled over and found the rack tierod is contacting the rim at extreme steering angles.

I thought the Honda 4x100 wheels worked. Luckily I have 5mm spacers at home.

I'm now also getting a clunk over bumps that I did not have with the factory 17" rims. Plasticity rubbing noise over bumps too.

Im worried and a bit upset.

Anyone help?

Solved a few days ago. Trimmed off the threads and made the tierod balljoint threads flush with the nut, clears the wheel perfectly
