Who is running 225/55 R17 on Stock wheels

We're purchasing a 2016 Countryman R60 soon and want to swap the tires out immediately. Not ready to do a lift on this thing, but want some better tires for the little bit of snow we get up here and would like to go a little larger to get some more height.

Been browsing all of the postings here and have a chart of all the different sizes that people have been posting. I've found a couple of posts, like this one, that refer to putting 225/55 R16's on the car (Kuhmo's). Seems like they don't stick out and there aren't rubbing issues, but want to really confirm.

This size is 0.8" taller than stock and 0.79" wider.

Anyone out there actually running this tire size?
- Rubbing or other fitment issues?
- Speedometer or tire pressure issues?
- Which tire did you get in that size and a review, especially if in snow?

Can I tag someone in a post? AaronL13 was the one that posted in the link I have above, haven't seen them post in quite a while though so I'm not sure if they are still around?

i am running 205/70R16 for my winter tires ... they are 27.3 inch od, 1.4 inches greater than the oem 225/45R18s

i also have the sport suspension option that lowers the car 1 cm ... no issues with clearance or rubbing

i also replaced the horrid pirelli p7 summer runflat 225/45R18s with michelin pilot super sports 225/50R18 (26.9 od) non runflats, again no issues with fitment
