So it seems all the clubs in the area are dead. I mean, WTF. This is NYC.

 

So lets star something small us or who ever is interesting, we can even go to Ridge hill in Yonkers drive there for a movie, we can meet at parking lot or in front of a store. what you guys think?? March??

 

I'm interested, too! I pick up my CMS this Saturday and I'm already impressed by the Mini community!!! If people don't mind paying for the bridge, there's some nice rides up towards Bear Mountain.

I'm driving up to Bear Mountain/Seven Lakes drive tomorrow, sunday march 13. I'm meeting up at 8am in brooklyn with two other R53 owners and we will head up the FDR to the palisades north from here, and expect to be at the mountain by 10am. PM me for my phone number so we can meet!

Hey all! We will be up there from 10am to noon, I may possibly stay longer if other people will show up. I have been going to bear for a few years now... But now i'm migrating from the Classic BMW world to the MINI world, so I need to find out who the local enthusiasts are.

Though local is a very relative term, between NEMINI, MONJ, Nutmeg, etc. Rarely hop in this section anymore or post up on NAM. I'm usually on NEMINI. If I wasn't knee deep in helping a friend with her R56 and saw this, I would have joined you guys since i'm In Queens and drive up that way often enough over the years.

 

NEMINI? Link? Would be nice to find more local people. I see MINIs every freaking day around here lol.

It's been quieter since most things end up on FB nowadays, but as the weather starts to get warmer (as if it isn't already) and folks get summer tires back on or the cars off winter storage, it gets more active.

5 boroughs local, well, that's gone through it's phases over the years. Some good, some bad - long gone are the parking lot meetups. Most people that have been active for years usually end up jumping into events and rallies all around the tri-state area.
