Anyone ever tried the Michelin Primacy MXM4 Touring Tires?
My mini spends 90% of it's time on the highway going back and forth to work......and I'm tried of only getting a year (or less) and 15,000-20,000 miles out of the high performance summer tires that I've been putting on it since I've had it.
I want to try something that will last longer....and I was thinking about the Michelin Primacy MXM4 touring tires. Any have these, or have had them in the past?
Good? Bad? Like I said...my main concern is finding a tire that will last, and not wear out to fast.

What size are your current tires?
If 215/45-17 (fits your suspension) then in Grand Touring All Season tires:

Michelin Primacy MXM4 (treadwear 500) is $86 each and a good value while Michelin Premier A/S (treadwear 640) is $143 each and a better more updated current tire model from Michelin for this class.

Pirelli Cinturato P7 All Season is another choice. 700 treadwear.
There are more limited sizes for 205/45-17.
Ultra High Performance All Season tire class is another place to shop for good handling street tires that last longer than summer tires.
Grand Touring All Season tires give up handling and responsiveness for more comfort, lower noise, long treadlife and better mpg with all weather use.
Note: I have a daily driven 2003 MCS with many of the same upgrades as you plus lowered suspension (used for autocross) and I run OEM 15" wheels and Grand Touring All Season Ecopia EP422 tires. Much better comfort but less handling.

I had Primacy MXM4s on my wife's Volvo C70 convertible for 4 years/50K miles. The ride was compliant and quiet and they lasted almost as long as the ads claimed they would.
But once the newness wore off, there was just something about them that I did not like. I never could figure out what it was, but I went with a set of Continentals to replace them and like these tires much better.
