I have a 2013 Roadster (non-S).

I have noticed the cooling fan will come on randomly after I turn the car off.

No rhyme, reason or pattern.

I estimate it runs 30-60 seconds.

It can happen after a short drive. A long drive. Stop-n-go traffic or after driving a constant speed. Hot weather or cool weather. No pattern I can identify.

I have a fairly established routine of where I drive during the week...and the cooling fan will come on sometimes one day when I park and then the next day after the same drive, It won't.

Coolant level is within range.

Has anyone else noticed their cooling fan coming on sporadically?

Its comes on when you run the a/c more or you are running in hot weather. Its will run for a short time after shut down for people even in cooler climates. If it runs all the time or if it runs when the engine is not warmed up at all, its either a failed thermostat sensor on top or the thermostat housing is leaking and the coolant will not touch the sensor.
