Yep! I love it .. The rev matching is a little interesting twist .. It's going back to the dealership to get the intake, power module and springs on it next week along with some paint work ..

Good to know. Did you get the DDC and, if so, do you know what size rear sway bar is on the car?

No, I didn't get the DDC on my JCW.

I am still getting use to it. There's a lot I like about it for sure. My main problem ... I bought a 997 while this was being built and I am completely obsessed with it ... heh heh ...

That's awesome. Congrats on that purchase as well. The 997 is a great platform.

Speaking of the 997.1 (2007), I was trying to locate some parts on the Pelican site and couldn't seem to find them. I need the air duct vent (under the bottom of the front of the car where it routes the air up into the bumper - it's like a little air scoop) and the air diverter that goes in front of the wheel ... I have a parking curb to thank for needing those ... Do you guys happen to have those parts or do I need to get from the dealer?

Are you talking about the radiator air duct? Looks like the image below. If so, those ducts are HERE.

I believe the fender shield is the other part you're talking about HERE. Let me know if that isn't what you're talking about or if you have any questions.

This is actually it based on the part number I have .. Says for the 996, but I assume they must just be interchangable.

So that is definitely for a 996, but when searching on that diagram for a 997.1, this is what I get, which does not have that vent part listed. You pulled that part number off the unit from your car? On the 997 below with the arrow, is that the part you're referring to?

Ok, that pic, the arrow is pointing to the piece I need, I also need that other piece behind it running in front of the wheel. I pulled the actual part number from the part that came off the 997.1, it's also a Carrera S, not sure if that makes a difference.

Ok, so for the 997.1 I think that is all one piece, which is the unit I listed above - fender shield HERE. I believe this part includes both the parts you need that are pointed out in that photo.

BTW, the best part of that car, the seats! What once was kind of a weak spot for MINI has now turned into a strength.
