Buying a 02 Justo 117k ... Need Advise

So I found a little mini that I like that needs a little help. It has been maintained and is a sound car but its needs the following parts listed below.. the good is that Im buying it for $2500.00 and it was checked out at Mini two weeks ago (called to verify sellers comments).. Been doing some reading all night on it and it looks like something I might do...

2002 Mini Base 1.6L Justo

Needs:

- Cooling Fan (70.00 from Rock Auto)
- Headliner (dunno?)
- Glove Box Latch (Saw a fix on Youtube)
- Tensioner Pulley is making noise (looks like a easy swap)
- Rotors (Easy enough)
- Cracked Windshield (Might cost a little to replace)
- rear tail light ($65.00 on Ebay for a set)
- Oil Pressure light comes on when sitting idle but I noticed it could just need the spring that builds pressure when sitting idle... (also found out he services the car at Tire Kingdom where they might have thrown the spring away)
- Will need a clutch next year (for my sanity)
- Also has a P113c code (have to look that up) Some say its an O2 sensor which is an easy fix..

Overall everything else works just fine and I think it would be a great daily car and beater car for the winter...

Thoughts??

So if you are comfortable with all the known issues, it seems like a fair price. How is the suspension? I just did the headliner - not too difficult. I have an '02 R50 that is my daily driver.

Suspension is surprising well and stiff.. My thoughts exactly.. I can get some cloth from EBay and knock it out ..

For the oil pressure light at idle: replace the oil filter with oem. My first oil change In my '02 resulted in this problem. Inexpensive fix but costed me a lot of sanity to figure out they put an oil filter in that was completely different (didn't even snap in place).

Are you using a generic code reader? I believe O2 codes range from P1132 - P1139 and the code you're getting is more generic. Good info in this NAM thread HERE with a link in the 2nd post to another good thread. OP said bank 1 11-78-0-872-674 was the sensor it was pointing to. If you need any help with the repairs be sure to check out our tech articles here. Good luck!
