Congrats. Mine was on the same boat! Mine has not been released yet but it always amazes me that in Canada it takes longer to get your car from the port to the dealer than in takes to get it built and shipped! ;-(

Congratulations to you also!

Now we can say that our MINIs are shipmates. 😀

I'm sorry that it takes longer for your car to come to you. Why is that?

My understanding is that all imported European cars are shipped to Halifax. Remember Canada is very wide and most of us live near the US boarder. This of course creates a huge bottleneck. Most cars go across the country on trains...and I think there are only 2 tracks!

That must really slow things down if there are only two train tracks to distribute the cars around. Anyway, I hope your wait will be worth it (and mine too)!

Greg,
Hey guy, it's looking better, I hope. Pretty fast service thus time, and I also hope it's a better end result.

Only three more months before my order goes in.....

The f56 JCW, still unclear on color. I like the Chili Red, really, but Rebel Green with the Chili Red roof feels good too, except the extra cost. I'd have to not go with the Wired package with that. Then there's the MoonWalk Grey is interesting too. Manual, of course, I have the auto in my current r59 and hate it. Also going with the HK radio this time. I had it in my r56 JCW abut I hope the e improved it by now. I'd really like to opt for the Mini Yours leather seats, but have to sees at my MA can do on pricing. Playing with figures, if I do the seats, I'll probably go Chili Red, possibly MoonWalk grey. Have to get closer to dealing to finally decide. Really love those seats.

There are lots of options to choose from, right? When we're done building it, we wait patiently until our MINI comes to us. And that's what makes it fun and exciting.

Whatever your final decision, it's going to be one cool car.

Keep us updated.

Congrats! Looks like it still pre-prep. Stop what you are doing, leave work and go straight to the dealership!

That's exactly what I did! A few more things to do to him and hopefully I can take him home by weekend. Fingers crossed, all of them. 😄

Looks great. Congrats. Hey what option was it for the black chrome trim around the headlights?

Thanks. The black ring lights were added on when it arrived at the port. They were the ones you can find in MINIUSA accessories. I verified with my MA first if they would fit the 2016 models (since the website only shows 2013 for the HT). He said yes, so I gave it a go. I'm planning to eventually dechrome the car when I get.

Looks nice except the roof rack/rails just kill the looks of the JCW MC.
