How many USB ports do you have?
I have one that I can see, next to the AUX connector, is that the only one? I read in another thread theres one in the glove box too?
My 2012 Clubman had two USB ports, which was very handy for charging phones etc.

Older MINIs had another USB port in the glove box for navigation map updates, which is no longer needed with the new 3rd gen MINIs. Hence, just the one USB port.

I have another one for power only on the MINI Click & Drive.
Some people can connect their phones in the armrest.
BTW, I've tried using a USB hub, it didn't work on my base radio with HK.
