Yup...I can't figure it out. I've got the map 8 setup and it gets 19.7 mpg at less than 5% WOT. Took it off and the Mini's screaming like it used to with Powerchip...AND getting back the 28-30 mpg. What's up with this? I have V38 flash recently too so Powerchip is now Powerflush Them bucks could have bought another set of wheels.

 

That happens when the exhaust clamps just before you muffler are loose.

Well if anything it overestimates, not underestimates!

 

Sid - all UNIchip's I've installed or driven have obvious power gains. I think you have rare bad hardware; call UNIchip and they'll happily sort the issue out with you!

...and STOP using the damn OBC to measure fuel economy, it's CRAP!

 

I'm not. I'm measuring the tank refill vs. miles.
