"Awaiting Transport" How Much Longer?

Hello friends,

My production status just went from Scheduled for Production to Awaiting Transport. For those of you who've received their cars, how much longer did it take from that point? I'm located on the west coast in Portland, OR.

Thanks

It really depends on where it is going. My car is sitting at the port waiting on a boat to bring it over since July 30th. Because I live in New England, they only will ship it over via WW since K-Line does not go to New York, so the next boat gets to port on Saturday. I am really hoping my car will be on that one. If no, there is another one later in the month.

I just was looking at the schedules again so checked for west coast and boats going to Port Hueneme and Tacoma. There is one, The Toledo, that will be departing Southampton Thursday (Zeebrugge today if your car was built in the Netherlands) so you may want to keep an eye out to see if your status changes. That ship gets to CA on 9/2 and WA on 9/6, so then just need to wait for VDC and transport to the dealer and any dealer prep. Next one after that departs on the 25th so would be later in September.

Looks like I might have made it on The Toledo. I'm guessing that my car will come off in WA and not CA since I'm in Portland, so I'll try to be patient until Sep 9th. Anyone have any idea how long it takes to transport to dealer and prep after it gets off the boat?

THANKS FOR ALL THE HELP

Not very long assuming there's no delay in the inspection joint after it comes off the boat. A week or less, sometime just a couple days. We were just in Portland. Got 2 kids there. Pretty warm this summer eh? They were griping about it big time. I didn't see as many Minis in the NW as I thought I would.
