Mystery box time at Adam's Polishes!!!!
Mystery box time at Adam's Polishes!!!!
I have been using Adam's products on my MINIs for a few years now. Overall I love their stuff but what got me hooked was the Forums and the How-To Videos. I love to set my iPad up in the garage and follow along to learn how to use something I'm not familiar with.
Anyway, they do these special deals a couple of times a year called "Mystery Boxes". For a price of 29.99 you will get a surprise selection of products. A few of the boxes will be worth up to $100 but all of them will have great stuff in excess of the $30 you spent. I have missed it every time but caught it today so ordered 2! Anyway I thought I'd put it out here if anyone is interested in giving it a try.
It's a lot of fun to watch the thread as people's boxes arrive and see what they get! More fun than Christmas!
Sale ends at noon tomorrow.

Post if you decide to give it a try, dying to see what others get!

I second the quality of Adam's products. I swear by their detail spray. I just spray that on after I'm done washing the car, before I dry it, and then take their drying towel and wipe it clean. So smooth and the shine is just impeccable for just using a detail spray. They also do some pretty fun giveaway's if you follow them on their Instagram account. Let us know what you get in your box, Annette!

I'll bite...I bought one earlier today. My whole detail product arsenal is mostly Chemical Guys and Prima. I'm not running out of anything but thought it would be a good chance to try something new. I'm curious to see what I will get.....
YAY, can't wait to see what you get, too.
I'm crossing my fingers for a foam gun but know that it very unlikely. A few double soft towels would rock.
I have Prima as well. I've been addicted to the Hydro for years. I recently tried a product Adam's has called H20 Guard and Gloss which has a similar application process to the Hydra and love it. So much so that I sent my last bottle of Hydro off to college with my daughter to use on the Countryman assuming she ever washes it!

I have one of the cheap Chem Guys foam guns and it works great. Their soaps/washes, to me, are the best on the market. The foam gun just makes car washing so much more fun!
Got my shipment tracked, it weighs 3.3lbs so I'm thinking there's some good product in there! I would think towels and applicators would be lighter. Should be here by weds I can't wait!!

I use my Great White Drying Towel for everything. I never take it out of the car. It is the best drying/detailing towel I've ever had!

I got my package today too!
1 Borderless Gray Towel
1 10 inch Wash Pad
Deep Wheel Cleaner
H20 Guard & Gloss
...and a mint and sticker.
Very happy with my mystery box! I didn't have any wheel cleaner so I'm excited to try that out, and I will admit I was hoping for some HGG.

Watch the video on using the wheel cleaner for sure. And definitely use it outside, the odor isn't horrible but it lingers. But wow, so clean.
I was dying for one of those wash pads, maybe next time.
I didn't get any mints and was so bummed. Then had to laugh at myself :D.

So I ordered my first MINI (fully loaded 2016 justa) nearly two weeks ago. This is the first car in my adult life that I'll be taking pride in, and as a result, it'll be the first car that I look forward to giving it the proper care that it deserves.
I've never put much thought into washing and detailing my old boring cars (so I'm still a newbie), but I've been reading up a quite a bit about detailing on these forums and other sites too... I now feel like I'll be ready to start off on the right foot when my car arrives!!!
Anyway, I wanted to say thanks for pointing Adam's out. While I didn't buy a mystery box, I did just place a decent sized order to get exactly what I wanted. I too found their forums (still lurking there) and their videos to be top notch. Not the cheapest (compared to, say, Chemical Guys), but I love that they are old school with traditional values. They seem like a great group of people that love what they do and who really put their customers first. I saw that they have supported autism, and as my wife is a breast cancer survivor, it hits home to see them supporting the Pink Fund this October. Really cool!
Anyway, it's not mystery box, but I combined some package deals with the fall 15% off promotion to get a lot of bang for my buck. So what did I get?

I'm sure this won't be my last order, and I'll probably go for a Mystery Box in the next round, but I think this will get me off to a good start... with the Paint Sealant and H2O Guard as my first line of defense.
