17x9 et40... is it possible?

I've googled and googled and googled.... I cannot get a definite answer.

Is it possible to run this setup on a stock suspension with minimal rub? Thinking about getting ESM 004 wheels.

I say maybe
use a sawzall under the fender liners
et would need to be 35ish
cannot use coilovers
need small diameter straight springs; not barrel shaped
no point really
235 would be so stretched on there.
if u try please take a pic and post
