Misc Parts for an R56 Mini or Mini JCW: (most parts I had bought for a second R56 I owned but never got to install them, loved them on the first Mini so ended up buying them for the second)

Sold Official MINI R56 Black Mirror Caps (for powerfold) - $30 - Used, barely, no scratches or chips though, only some bug guts I didn't get cleaned off fully.



Sold Official MINI Cooper "S" Valve Stem Caps (4 plus 3 spare) - $10 - Used, they only need cleaned better.


Sold Official MINI R56 Sport Antenna (4" shorty) - $10 - New, in box.


Alta Performance R56 Rod Ends (for Alta's control arms - not included) (qty 8 rod ends) - $50 - New, in box. These were sent to me because my original ones surface rusted so bad, but I never put them on.



Sold GoMiniGo R56 "Give Me a Brake Light" brake light mod kit - $10 - New, in box. This kit allows you to use your rear fog lights (not included) as your taillights/brake lights. They light up soft to match lights on, then brighter when brakes are applied...very nice kit. This was a kit I never put on a second Mini I had. This shows it's for 2007/2008, but my 2010 R56 used the same kit and it worked fine.



Official MINI R56 center armrest console plug-in adapter for iPhone (4 and 4S I think, sorry I don't own one) - $10 - New, in box. This kit allows you to plug in and charge/use your iPhone in the center console.


Sold Craven Speed R56 Adjustable Short Shifter - $150 - New, in box. This was bought for a second Mini I had but never installed.


Official MINI R56 Black Leather Steering Wheel - $100 - New,. in box.


Official MINI JCW R56 Alcantera Steering Wheel - $400 - New, in box. You will LOVE this steering wheel, seriously, you want this!


O.Z. Racing 17" x 7" Alleggerita HLT (black painted, 37mm offset, 14.2lbs, Mini centering rings included) (qty4) / Yokohama Advan Neova AD08 215/45R17 (qty4) / Mini 433MHz TPMS (qty4) - asking $1,700 - Less than 15,000 miles on wheels and tires package which was bought new mounted/balanced from TireRack. Currently this package would cost $2254.44 before shipping. Breakdown is wheels $1,356 + tpms $228, valves $11.96, and tires $658.48. At LEAST one more full summer season on tires, prob two summers depending on miles and how hard you drive. Wheels are true and straight, no bent edges or curb rash/rubs, the only blemish is one of the caps is oddly flaking the "carbon fiber" part off around the edges (see pic) and they are a little dirty atm. This offset (37mm) is PERFECT for an R56...my JCW in the pics had H&R Sport Springs, but the look was perfect IMHO, see for yourself in the pics. (FYI...shipping for this wheel/tire package from TireRack to IL was around $125)

I don't believe so, since no MINIs had paddle shifters when I bought it for an R56 I had and I certainly have not noticed any. I'll look when I get home from vacation on the 9th though and post a more solid reply. You will want one though, if not from me, from somewhere...they totally change the feel...much for the better!

 

Bump. And OE Tuning, I cut in the slots for the paddle shifters in mine. It is just trimming the leather on the back and removing the foam. The screw holes are there to mount the paddles. It is a nice wheel.....

As expected, there do not appear to be shifter slots, although sounds pretty easy to mod it as mbwicz explains.
