As suggested by BMS for hot climate driving I set down the dial to 30 and I can see an improvement on acceleration and overall performance.

Now the engine is more responsive and the idle surge problem that came back with hot weather seem to stabilize. The drawback is fuel consumption is dropping by about 4 mpg to keep around a combined 22 mpg. I also believe the engine cools better because I always thought it was starving during summer time last year.

Overall, I believe it is a good add on for more performance on the JCW combined with the superior chassis dynamics of the Coupe.

My interest and focus is more about how much added performance I will feel between 70-110 mph where I really need some punch on twisty mountain roads and in quest of better acceleration.
