I bought it from one of my "Sunshine Mini's" members who indicated this was made in and came from Canada for an R55/56. It is not a Mini OEM part but my girlfriend has the add on Mini OEM console and this is equally as nice, felt lined inside, a third of the price and much more comfortable on the elbow. All it's missing is a Mini Logo on the front, add that and it would fit right in.
