Just picked up a 2009 Mini Cooper S hardtop. The tires are Toyo Versado ECO 195/55 R16. The ride felt very harsh, so I've been decreasing the tire pressure from 36 psi (not sure why it was so high) to about 30psi. Curious if anybody else is running these tires and what pressure you're using to get a nice comfortable ride.

 

Very common complaint with "Eco" tires....harsh ride...generally a tire with both a sidewall that flexes less and harder rubber tests with lower rolling resistance....
Some Eco tires are OK, but all tires are a tradeoff....

Too claims the Versed Eco has the highest ride comfort and quiet rating.

Let use know how the lower pressures work for you.

Maybe you have very bumpy roads.
