I'm curious....why do you only list this part as fitting an R52? Is there something different about the R52 unit compared to the R53?
Also, do you know if one of these, properly installed, will pass smog in California? (Not worried about a visual inspection.)
Finally, will it bolt right up to an existing OEM CAT-back exhaust system? My car is an '06 R52 with all possible JCW options.
Thanks!

Hello,
There is the additional rear undercarriage support on the Convertibles, So Milltek designed a center exhaust connection for the R52 S that contains a bump or ridge ( on the rear muffler, otherwise the R53 exhaust would hit and not cure around it. So it will fit right.
Yes , it will bolt right up. Make sure you soak the old manifold bolts before you take the old system out , they tend to rust like crazy and seize, and make sure the flange is clean to mate the Milltek exhaust.
Thanks

Hi ESCT,
Can you post a picture of the face of the flange with a scale? I'd like to know the width and height of the port openings in the flange. Looking to port a head and trying to find a header with Cat that will work with what I want to do. Also, can you provide the ID of the primary runners?
Thanks,
UL

Hello,
I can get the specs. Don't have a scale drawing. I would have to get the specs from Milltek. Can do that. Then you will know what you can shave off. Hold tight.
