TRS HID retro-fit equipment placement?

I'm in the final stages of an HID retro-fit with a package from The Retrofit Source for my 09 Mini Cooper S. I've tested everything and all works with no error codes being thrown. My question is now I need to start bolting things down like the ballasts and resistors and trying to get an idea of where others who have completed this task have put theirs. There doesnt seem to be alot of room to play with. Any input would be great!

I just stuck ballast inside head lamp assy, used double sided tape. The resistor get HOT so mounted to heat sinks and had no issues, if not plan to keep away from all plastic, use cable ties to hold wires keep the resistors away from anything that will melt.

So you kept the resistors on the inside and kept the wires away from them? Thats really intersting. I was planning on doing the ballasts but Im having a hard time visualizing where you would mount the resistors. Thanks for the input!

NO resistors stuck near radiator support/braces, OUT side of headlamp assy

One last question, did you attach the ballasts before throwing the lights into the oven? Or did you use a heat gun? I can do both options but oven seems easier but I dont want to ruin the ballast.

why cook your ballast ? I wouldn't . And I tried 2 diff heat guns and gave up, oven works so much better, I found 250F for 7.5 mins

Yeah good point. I was visualizing having it already placed in there when I put the lens back on. I didnt think that through lol. I can put it in there through one of the 2 open holes.

No trying to thread jack, but it looks like your question was answered....what kit did you use? How did it fit? I was thinking of going the h1 stage III kit with mini gatling gun shrouds. I was worried about fitment. didn't want to dremel a lot of the headlight or the shroud.
