Upcoming m2c2 events

This is a partial list of events of interest to members of m2c2:

8/27-28 m2c2 annual meeting events:
8/27 BMW factory tour, Spartanburg, S.C. Part of the m2c2 annual meeting; members only. See the "m2c2 Annual Meeting" thread in this forum.

8/28 m2c2 annual meeting, Greenville, S.C. Also only for club members. See the "m2c2 Annual Meeting" thread in this forum.
8/28 m2c2 motoring, to Blue Ridge Parkway and beyond. After the annual meeting; open to all. See the "m2c2 Annual Meeting" thread in this forum.

8/28 Blue Ridge Parkway Foundation benefit. Support one of the best MINI Motoring roads in the Carolinas. See the "m2c2 Annual Meeting" thread in this forum and the "Blue Ridge Parkway Benefit" thread here, too.
9/17-18 Vintage BMWs on display at Zentrum, Greenville-Spartanburg, S.C. Not directly MINI-related, but part of the new MINI’s heritage. http://www.bmwvccca.com/cat_events.shtml

9/24-25 Autumn in the Mountains; British car gathering at Flat Rock, N.C., put on by the British Car Club of Western North Carolina. Last year’s show attracted several MINIs, including some club members. Plan to attend to see some glorious cars, as well as show off your own. http://www.autumninthemountains.org/

10/15-16 Euro 2004 Auto Festival at Zentrum, Greenville-Spartanburg, S.C. We’ve had new MINIs in the two most recent editions of this festival: Last year the MINI was the featured car. Plan to come show, or just look. http://euroautofestival.com/

10/30? Halloween drive. 1MiniGrl will lead us in chasing ghosts and goblins on this spooky night. See the "Halloween Rally" thread below.

November: Keep your eyes on this space for a very special members-only event in early November. Okay, you can go do something else for a while, but be sure to check back here.

I started the Halloween Rally Thread, but it sounded like Wave had some really killer locations and drive spots. If no one steps up, I'll gladly do my best to organize, but it may be hard for me since I have a staff meeting that last week of October, and won't have access to a computer that entire week. I'll gladly see what I can do about getting something together.

I did the Euro 2002 Auto Festival when the MINI was the featured marque of the show. We also had a tour of the BMW plant and a MINI-only drive up to Caesar's Head. It was great!

Autumn in the mountains sounds like fun, and I'm planning on making it to Eurofest this year (Since I missed it last year ). Any other m2c2 members signed up for Eurofest yet?

I wonder if anyone still remembers me here....

We've been real busy with the business and all, more updates on that to come later on. But about all these events, you can count me in to anything relatively local - meaning the BMW factory tour, the Annual Meeting, and EuroFest, provided it isn't the same weekend as Road ATL's Petit le Mans again!

I've been meaning to take my girlfriend to the factory tour at BMW for a while now, since I've been telling her how cool it is without any visual explanation! Anyways, I'll try to keep in touch a little bit better than I have been, you all take it easy and I'll see ya when I see ya!

You need to start showing up at these things so you can tout your wares..
I also have your membership card and rear window decal.. I wonder if I could pass myself off as you?
