This is my first post on NAM!

I have a 2007 MCS that I bought late last year. I noticed recently that the right fog lamp has not been working while the left one does. I assumed it was just the bulb, but after trying a few replacements out I pulled out the multimeter.

The left lamp was receiving 9V while the right one was registering at 0V. This leads me to believe that it is an electrical issue. I checked all the relevant fuses I could think of and found no blown ones. I'm looking for ideas of where to sniff around next.

It's worth mentioning that I had a problem with the headlights "shorting" because the wire insulation was cracked and falling off. I used electrical tape on the wires and haven't had any issues since in the headlight department.

Any recommendations? Is there a wiring diagram anywhere for the fog lamps?

 

I'm having the same issue with the left bulb on my GP2. I had aftermarket bulbs in so the dealer pretty much told me where to stick it... Let me know if you end up getting anywhere with it!

 

Sounds like a wire. This may help you trace it.
