Hi All

We recently got this 2009 Cooper 1.6 with 41k miles for my wife. She informs me it makes a noise when you start it up when cold but doesn't do it when warm? I've taken the video below and you can clearly hear it. I'm pretty sure this is something that has developed over the last week as I don't recall it doing it before? Any ideas on what this can be?

 

It sounds like the starter bendix hanging up on the flywheel to me.
