Were the R85 wheels (17x7, 7-spoke) a stand-alone option on the R53? I know they were part of one of the packages offered when new, maybe the Sport package? I also thought I remember being able to order them a la carte, without everything else in the package (DSC, bonnet stripes, etc.)

Does anyone know for sure, if the wheels could be ordered separately?

 

i have the slites on my 05

no driving lights
no cold weather package
no track pack
no navi

hell i dont even have stripes or different color top and bottom.

(the only option i have as a luxury is leather seats and radio controls)

i think the slites were just one of the rims you could add on in your order.

 

That's what I've found online - that you could have ordered the wheels as part of a package, but you could also order them separately.

 

sounds about right. don't know why tho, these s"lites" are heavy as hell.
