I'm in the middle of replacing my t-stat housing. I have the plastic top cover off the wiring harness cradle that is attached to the housing, but can't figure out how the bottom half of the cradle releases from the thermostat housing. I don't see any clips or bolts. Thanks.

 

Oh, just got it: pull hard straight up and the two plastic cylinder nubs on either side of the cradle slide out of their tubes. Sorry for the bandwidth interruption. Carry on.

 

Yea, juts watch not to snag the wires or chaf them on anything.

 

I know this is an old thread but do any of you know if there is a replacement plastic cover for the bundle? I broke mine while replacing my thermostat.

 

I have not found it. If someone has it, post up otherwise on the back of the part there might be some numbers and i can cross ref it.
