Hey, we just picked up an R53 & noticed the threads are stripped for the filter box screws. Anyone with an OEM intake box they're willing to let go cheap?

 

I don't have one and have the same problem but would like to pass along my temporary tip to close the air box. To keep things tight while I looked, I wrapped a thin stainless steel wire through the holes to take up space and give the screw something to grip. Works good so far but I'm thinking for a long term fix to heat up a threaded insert and have it melt its way into the stripped hole. A drill press would act as a fixture to hold the insert in alignment. Think I saw that trick on youtube somewhere.
