Hello everyone,
I thought for my first post I would introduce myself, and let everyone know who I am. My name is Michael Febbo, I live in Huntigton Beach, California. I am currently a BMW sales associate at South Bay BMW in Hermosa Beach. My dealership will soon be getting a Mini franchise. I have been a Mini fan for several years. I drove a Mini Cooper S the first chance I got, I lived in Las Vegas at the time and drove to Long Beach for the chance to drive one. I have yet to purchase one, not wanting to pay above sticker and not willing to just take whatever options the dealer sees fit to order for me.With my company soon getting a franchise I hope to have my MCS within a couple months.
I have been a racing enthusiast for several years. I own and track a 81 911SC. I worked in Engineering for Shelby American, working on the both the Cobra project as well as the Series 1.
I am looking forward to discussing Minis, Porsches, BMWs and just cars in general with everyone here.
Thanks,
Mike

Mike,

Welcome to NAM.
When is the MINI dealership @ South Bay suppose to open?

I'm local and I'd like to try another dealership for service.

Mike,
Welcome to NAM. Will be looking forward to your input on this site from someone with your experience in racing, engineering, and being so enthused with Mini's, Porsche's, and BMW's.

Mike,

Aloha from Hawaii and welcome to NAM.
Good to hear from you and looking forward to your future posts.

There is a wealth of info on the MINIs here, let us know if there is something you cannot find for yourself of your customers.

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone. Our dealership was originaly schedules to open in September, but our new building is a little behind schedule with the concrete shortage that has hit the construction iindustry. I would love to give you guys a date, but obviously it is a little out of our control right now. Again thanks for the welcome, and I look forward to being part of the comunity.
