Pre 07/04 engine in a 05 Cooper S
Does any one know of any problem with a engine only swap between a pre 07/04 MCS and an 05? I spun a bearing in my 05 MCS Convertible and have access to my old 04 MCS engine for cheap.
If I recall right, the post 7/2004 cars have an extra sensor, and the wiring harness and ecu were both updated...
Think that is WHY there is a part number split....
Not sure what would need to be done.....
