05 MCS Hyper Blue

Well, now the waiting begins! I've now become an official member of the Mini mania. I ordered my 05 MCS Hyper Blue on Saturday from Mini of Nashville. I got the 17" wheels, premium package and the Harmon Kardon stereo. I also got the body color dash & door trim and Anthricite headliner. My wife and I both drove the MC edition they had on the lot and now my wife wants to sell the minivan and get a BRG Mini. These cars are the funnest (is that a word?) things to drive in the world. I have one question, how did you guys make it through the waiting period for your car? I can hardly sleep just thinking about it.
Thanks guy for having a great place to chat.

Motoring soon in a 05 MCS Hyper Blue Baby!

Funny you should mention that. Like Napoleon Bonaparte, since ordering my MINI over two years ago, I can now get by on only three hours of sleep a day. This is part of the sport package I have been told. The good news is that makes for some four to five hours of extra time each day to motor or modify your baby. Definately get wifey involved with a MINI of her own; that way you won't have to share your ride with anyone!

p.s. Welcome to the tribe.

Thanks for the words MGCMAN. The wife is definitely going to get one because she spent all day yesterday trying to sell the minivan to a friend of ours. Who knows maybe I'll be ordering another one in a couple of weeks.

Oh, the wait gets a whole lot worse before it gets better
I'm trading up from a high spec Pure Silver/Black 03 Cooper to a Hyper Blue/Black MCS with aero kit, week 32 build (1st week of Aug).

If NAM has production month clubs (?) ie 'August Production Group' you can hang out in there and track your MINI with others in the same build month.
(You can even find out what cargo ship, and track that too )

And you are always welcome to come hang out with us here: http://www.mini2.com/forum/showthread.php?t=62417

Congratulations, and excellent color choice !!!

dlsmini... If you find the answer on how one can stand the wait, you may have begun to unlock the universe. Let us know the answer.

I have decided that I'm going to get a MINI, but I let my husband talk me into waiting for the LSD to come out (Jan. '05 supposedly). If I ordered one now I wouldn't get it before the end of auto-x season anyway, but I'm not sure I can stand the wait! I guess I'll just have to start driving his Evo in the meantime

BartMack, thanks for the invite over to Mini2. I'll have to come over and check things out.

Peterwhit, check out www.mini.com and go the the International site link and when you click on the Mini Cooper s model the color that comes up is the new Hyper blue. There's not a real good pic of the Purple Haze color.

Still waiting on the official build week. Arghh!
