Just logged onto the owner's lounge and for the first time ever, the options box is filled in. Of course, my car is already built and on a ship, but it's nice to finally see all the details.

 

mine just showed up today as well. mine isn't scheduled until next week, but it is still cool to see!

 

The anticipation of the production process for the mini was part of why I had my most exciting car purchase. What a thrill each time it came another step closer. Everyone at my shop also became excited.

 

Mine ever did show up there, but als the options arrived as ordered.

 

My estimated production date is not unitl 12/20, and my info just showed up. That tells me this is a new level of detail that they should now have for everyone with a order.

 

Now you all have me worried. I just checked mine today and on the factory ordered options sections is says:
17' Alloy Wheels Styling 85 With Performance Runflast Tires.
Glass Moonroof Or Electric Sunfroof, Twin Glass Front/back


The two packages I order were #1, and #2 (premium and sport) should there be any more things in the factory ordered options section?

 

bmarvin, mine does not show the individual options but the packages themselves. The 'Factory Ordered Options:' section looks like this:

Cold Weather Package
Interior Surface Anthracite
Premium Package
Sport Package

I would check with 866-ASK-MINI just to be sure cause I am a worrier as well

 

I noticed my order details show my white wheels, but no mention is made of my white roof/mirrors. Does this detail show up for the rest of you?

 

Mine reads:
The model description above reads as it should as well (MCS, BRG, Leatherette)
EDIT: There is no listing for the white roof/mirrors, but you cannot get white stripes or wheels unless you get the white roof/mirrors...if that helps

I keep trying to call 886 ask mini, but for the last hour I get the network busy signal. Is there another number I can call? Also why would someone bother setting up an online tracking system, but have no standard terms, some people get different desc. some get none, how ghetto is this, if your going to do it, just do it right.

No worries...it's the least I can do. All I have here at the office is work, so that stuff can wait

 

bmarvin - Did you scroll down in the options box to make sure that you saw everything listed??

 

I saw the scroll bar and tried to see if I could scroll up or down, but no luck. I'll try it with a different browser

 

the owners lounge shows that i have a leather steering wheel that i did not order.
it finished production yesterday. should i play stupid until it arrives or tell my dealer and risk buggering up the date that i would pick it up.

 

Just called the dealer to make them aware of this. Sales manager is going to check if they gave me the right production number for the car with my options. They think it was just a small clerical error in that they have 2 DS/W MCS coming in and they mistyped my production number on the email they sent. Should be interesting.

 

mine just showed up to and it is also already on a boat est del date 11/25 the days are going so slow now this is worse then waiting on christmas as a kid

I know what you mean. My Mini just got off the boat and I was so happpy to see the options box filled in. I thought it had something to do with the info being entered at the distribution center. Can't wait. Should be any day now

 

Mine shows all the options (only in the last few days) but it doesn't mention the white roof and mirrors. I called the dealer and he checked the invoice and told me not to worry - white it is. I guess it's all part of the Mini mistique (not mistake I hope)

 

Just checked the OL. Now the color of my roof/mirrors has been added in the options box. :smile:

Thought everyone waiting anxiously for their MINI's would like to know!

 

My options are all filled in correctly and now I have a VIN! This is getting good....

 

just checked mine again this morning, and it now lists the white roof and mirror caps, so everything is as it should be going into my production week! WOOHOO
